Amway Donates Funds for Green Olympics
May 10, 2008: Amway, along with 15 other companies, has donated funds to support Beijing tree planting and the Green Olympics concept. The Ministry of Commerce in Beijing said that together, the companies have donated nearly $150,000 (1.05 million yuan) to the tree-planting effort, to help the country adhere to the environmental protection and energy savings guidelines in preparation for the Olympic Games. These donations bring the total amount raised to over 5 million yuan.

April 28: 2008: USANA has launched Nutreo™, a delicious chocolate snack bar for its health-conscious customers. USANA Posts Lower Profit in Q1
April 21: USANA Health Sciences, Inc, posted a 36 percent drop in first quarter profits, attributing higher operating costs and lower sales numbers in the North American business unit. The personal care and nutritional products company is based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Its first-quarter earnings were $7.5 million (46 cents a share) verses the $11.7 million (63 cents a share) that it saw in the same period last year.

USANA Shares Drop on Earnings Report
April 3, 2008: Shares of USANA stock fell 21 percent after reporting a poor Q1 earnings report. Last year, USANA underwent an SEC investigation after accusations that the company was essentially a pyramid scheme.
